2020 Kooyong Giving Tree

Out and About

Date Posted : 06 November 2020

Since 2012, the Kooyong community has shown the best spirit of Christmas by donating what they can to the Kooyong Giving Tree in support of Servants Community Housing in Hawthorn and Kew. Servants Community Housing provides safe and affordable accommodation to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. What we do as a community matters, and as we approach Christmas, I encourage local residents, community groups and organisations to support this important work with a donation of money, non-perishable food items, or essentials such as clothing, toiletries and blankets.

Donations can be accepted until 21 December 2020 in the following ways:

TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS
To make a tax-deductible donation, you can give online at givenow.com.au/servants and reference ‘2020KGT’ in the online form.

Alternatively, cheques payable to ‘Kooyong Giving Tree – Servants Community Housing’, and gift vouchers for local businesses, may be posted to my electorate office at 695 Burke Road, Camberwell 3124.

IN-KIND DONATIONS
Donations of food and other goods can be dropped off to Servants Community Housing at Hamer Court, 535 High Street, Kew. A donation box will be left out the front so that your donation can be received in a COVIDsafe way. Please ensure that your name and contact number are clearly marked on your donation.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact my electorate office on 9882 3677.
