Invictus Games

Out and About

Date Posted : 21 October 2018

On 21 October, I attended an event to thank the volunteers, athletes, servicemen and women for their tireless efforts to make the Invictus Games in Sydney a huge success.

The Invictus Games were founded by the Duke of Sussex who saw the positive impact sport could have on the recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women.

The Sydney Games hosted 500 competitors from 18 nations to compete in 11 medal sports and participate in golf and wheelchair tennis.
